characters on Indian television comedy shows ever, Rosech Sarabhai was a
mamma’s boy who used to love writing and reciting poetry that no one wanted to
listen. Rajesh Kumar, aka Rosech Sarabhai, had this unique childish and
duck-ish way of saying things that ultimately went to becoming one of the USPs
of the show. His oddly hilarious character made him audience’s favourite comedy
show character ever.

popular household name after his portrayal of Daya Ben, a loud Gujarati
housewife of Jetha Lal. The style with which she danced to garba, her unique
and hilarious way of addressing her husband as ‘Tappu ke Papa’ and her
favourite dialogue ‘Hey maa, mataji’ made her a popular name in the realm of
comedy show best characters.
Chandramukhi Chautala (F.I.R.)
This mouthful of fire Haryanvi
cop’s portrayal as Chandramukhi Chautala played by Kavita Kaushik was downright
hilarious and rib-tickling. Her show FIR is one of the longest running comedy
shows on Indian television and revolved around trying to solve cases that were

badass character and that typical Haryanvi accent was loved by everyone.
